GrowDwell was born from a simple frustration: most gardening advice online
assumes you have a backyard, perfect light, and no pets sniffing around
your monstera. We don’t.
GrowDwell is a practical indoor gardening blog for people who live in
apartments, share their homes with curious pets, and want plants that
actually thrive — not just survive.
Our Story
GrowDwell started in 2026 when Mehedi Hasan moved into a small apartment
and quickly learned that not all houseplants are created equal — especially
when you share your space with a curious cat, dog, and other pets. After one too many
toxic-plant scares and care guides that ignored low-light reality, he
started documenting what actually worked.
Sweety joined soon after, bringing years of hands-on experience
with tropical and tropical-tolerant houseplants. Together, we built
GrowDwell as the resource we wished existed when we started.
Today, GrowDwell publishes tested, real-world plant guides for indoor
gardeners navigating small spaces, pet-friendly homes, and unpredictable
apartment conditions.
